BELGAUM: Unbearable stench emanating from heaps of uncollected garbage welcomes visitors who step into Byhatti plot in Deshpande Nagar.
As there is no garbage container in the vicinity, residents dump waste indiscriminately on the roadside. Garbage of more than 15 days are strewn around the roads in this residential area.
What adds to their woes is the apathy of the municipal corporation authorities in clearing waste regularly.
